LONG BEACH ACCELERATOR
Long Beach Pride for Future Businesses
Ever since I moved to Long Beach, it has been my home, and after MALI & Friends won a bid to work with a city project for an Accelerator I got to use my love for this city while developing an illustrative style to help bring new businesses to come to the LBC.

The Problem
Getting pictures of a city for a government can come with a lot of Red Tape, and as we were developing the site we wanted to work on a style that worked not only for the Long Beach City Government but the investor partners for the Long Beach Accelerator (LBA). One that not only felt clean but also showed love and homage to the one and only LBC.
Opportunities
I fell in love with Long Beach the moment I moved here, and having lived here for about a decade at the start of this project I made sure to show the things I knew were not only significant landmarks, familiar signs, but also easter eggs to the industries based out of the city.
Everyone Still Needs Collateral
While creating custom illustrations for the LBA I often would remix them for the purpose of print collatoral here and there throughout the years. From banners for a talk, to a handout for their first Cohort with the new website we had designed, and a deck template.
